One Fine Day With Sunflowers

Though my pappa's and his few brothers are employed in government organization, except my dad, all my uncle's are still carrying out the agriculture that my grandpa has left. For me, going out and staying with the big joint family is always fun and never tiring event. They do different kind of crop cultivation depends on the season like mad programmers code under different files...

When I was visiting my native place, I went to check out the sunflower crop land after hearing about it.

It was breathtaking to see so many flowers in same place. Here are the pics I took with my mobile cam.

My cousin Raju (my best freind too).
he do anything for me. good guy. but to be frank unfortunately i'm not like him
but good thing is i'm trying to match his characteristics..

North Indian Snowfall

The winter in North India don't just stop with the chilling weather. Some times it produces beautiful North Indian version of snow fall. Thought its not actually the exact snow fall but it's enough for me to call it's snow fall since the place I actually belong never seen temperatures below 2o degrees.

Checkout the picture I took with my mobile and you will agree how chilling and fantastic it would be in such environment after being under the scorching sun for almost 22 years except few days that I spent in hill stations Ooty and Kodaikanal...

It was a fine afternoon it all started... I thought someone is playing by throwing stones... caz the sound was so compelling that I panicked and rushed out to check out what is actually happening...

To my biggest surprise first time ever in my life seeing some white snow balls falling down, for me it was like angel coming down... I called up my parents immediately and was talking with them about this for almost 15 minutes... you can understand my level of enthusiasm at that time...

Here are the pics I clicked...

A view of my Sector 10A home backyard.. filled with ice...

My home terrace.... From now onwards... like the Who touched moon first... there would be another question going to be very popular among Kovilpatti people is "Who walked over the icy service first time from Kovilpatti????" Answer is none other than Super Star Karthikeyan...

Another question would also come... yes you guessed it right... who took the handful of ice first time??? Its none other than Mr Karthikeyan... Hurrah.. what a great achievement...

A closer look at snow...

Check out how fast surfaces are filled with snow storm..

Shivering North India

Ooops.. never lived in such cool temperatures for such long time continuously... nearly some 4-5 months I was virtually under feeling that Gurgaon has moved near to Shimla.

It was so cold in North India that many time you would be engulfed with heavy fog. Thought its killing cold, I really enjoyed the drastically changing north india weather.. temperature usually hover around 3-4 degrees in night and morning usually would be 7-10 deg. Even in that coldness all through the winter I never took bath in hot water. enjoyed the cold weather with blood chilling cool water. and the other days i don't even take bath since there is no sweating and was fresh all through many days...

Here are few pictures I took while I was returning home from office. Place is Sector 10A market.

the below is the view from my home.... very chilling one...

Shimla Trip - Mobile Cam Pictures

I already have posted very detail about my Shimla trip here, the picture are from Arun's digi-cam. In addition to that I took some pictures with my mobile cam and took such long time to upload all into system and publishing it now.

Shimla has thing interesting concept of using the Lift to move to different streets. All thanks to terrain it is in. Because of varying attitude between different streets, Shimla uses lift to move between the lower lying street to upper one with a nominal charge. Its just like bus service but moving in different attitude.
